SCANNING 3D MODEL

Creating a 3D model of real-world objects has historically posed challenges, but with the 3D Scanner app, users can now easily convert any object into a 3D model. To achieve this, simply position the object centrally and either capture images or record video by circling around it. By scanning the object from various perspectives, it will automatically be transformed into a photo-realistic 3D model.

The 3D Scanner leverages Photogrammetry technology to generate authentic 3D mesh from both photos and videos captured using a smartphone camera. This process allows smartphones to act as independent tools for converting photos into 3D models. The resultant 3D models are stored locally and can be shared with contacts.

APPLICATION FEATURES

• Capture Photos and Videos using your smartphone to be uploaded to the server and processed for high-quality 3D model creation.
• One user is permitted to process up to 40 models and download up to 12 models. Users can expand both the processing and download limit by purchasing additional capacity within the app.
• Built-in model viewer enables users to preview their models directly on their phones.
• Upload Your 3D model to your Sketchfab account for local download and sharing capabilities on Sketchfab.
• For further dissemination, easily share models on various social media platforms after uploading to Sketchfab.
• The ability to export models in OBJ format.

OUTPUT

The outcome of the 3D model will be presented in a photo-realistic OBJ format. Efforts are underway to offer multiple file formats for the Output. The exported model can be utilized in other 3D modeling tools, along with the ability to share your models with friends via social media and email.
